JOB SUMMARY

Manage INB Banking Center sales, operations, maintenance, security, and personnel. Proactively calls on clients and prospects to solicit deposit and loan business, as well as, ensuring all banking center staff meets or exceeds all sales, service and profitability requirements respectively.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.


1. Ensure banking center personnel are properly trained on all products and services.  In some cases, ensuring certain branch personnel is cross trained between platform and teller applications to increase efficiencies.
2. Maintain open communication with branch personnel, internal bank partners and supervisors, or bank Senior Management, Retail Market Manager, and EVP (Head of Retail).
3. Ensure all Policies and Procedures are followed for the various branch team members (i.e. Assistant Manager, New Accounts, Tellers, etc.).
4. Maintain a thorough understanding of the Branch Profit & Loss Financial Statement to help make informed decisions regarding service charge waivers, fee returns, etc.
5. Handle customer complaints and inquiries.
6. Conduct meetings to update banking center personnel on products, services, promotions, etc.
7. Conduct weekly one-on-one coaching sessions with branch personnel to ensure all team members understand and acknowledge their production to expectation.
8. Open new accounts and run teller station as needed.
9. Responsible for ensuring team members are monitoring exceptions on New Account Product Openings.
10. New account and teller weekly reports are reviewed with staff for areas of improvement and positive reinforcement
11. Recommendations and input in regards to banking center personnel’s evaluations and disciplinary activities.
12. Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations, which include BSA, CIP, and OFAC requirements as they apply to this particular job title/position.
13. Conducts Monthly Financial Center Assessments.


SALES DUTIES

1. Insure overall branch personnel (tellers/new accounts) working towards established goals and objectives.
a. Teller Referrals— Minimum 12 closed referrals per month per teller.
i. INB Daily Tracker Tool to Monitor.
b. New Account Sales… Monthly/Quarterly Points— Minimum 800 points per New Account Associate.
i. INB Daily Tracker Tool to Monitor.
c. Cross-Sale or Products Per Household— Minimum of 4.0 Per Household.
i. INB Daily Tracker Tool to Monitor.
2. Identify and establish strategies which will emphasize prospecting for generating new business from within current portfolio and by adding new clients.
3.  Client Retention Objectives Consistently Met— monitored through Branch Weekly Production Report.
4. Coach staff to work as a team towards established branch and line of business goals.
5. Develop Outside Calling Strategy designed to meet or exceed targeted Commercial Loan Production.
a. Mix of COI Contacts, Current Client Account Reviews, New Business Opportunities.
b. Partner with Commercial Lender and Banking Center Personnel for Leads and Referrals.
i. Refer All Commercial Loans greater than $250M to Commercial Lender.
6. Understand Loan Underwriting Policies and Procedures and ensure compliance with all.
a. Develop Partnership with Commercial Business Banking Underwriting Team.
7. Achieve Targeted Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Goal for New Loan Production.
8. Meet All Bank Defined Metrics for Past Dues, Financial Exceptions, Covenant Exceptions, etc.
9. Effectively Monitor and Manage to Meet Client Satisfaction Expectations.
10. Assure a consistently high level of professionalism, business etiquette, and overall positive attitude towards clients and bank personnel.


QUALIFICATIONS
These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a related field. (a minimum of 5 years of experience may commensurate for degree)
• 5 Years’ Experience in banking operations.
• Extensive knowledge relating to banking regulations.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of direct employee management experience preferred.
